We'll be coming round the mountains..
I'm back!! The past week spent in the mountains [Genting, but it sounds more exciting when I say 'mountains'] were great fun. Church Camp was unexpectedly more enjoyable, and I brought back alot of great lessons and moments with me. As part of the advance party, the 'kids' of the camp committee had a blast at the theme park. Bernice, Jeremiah, Daniel and I decided that adrenaline rushes were good (as well as scaring the poop out of us), and we ended up taking the wildest rides ever. We had loads of fun despite the long queues, and Jere was saying something about remembering the 4 of us forever after we got off one particularly wicked ride (some free-fall thingy from about 20 stories high, which left most of us kissing the dear ground after we got off). But overall, it really was an opportunity for the 4 of us to just be kids again. Running around and giggling (and drooling on the rollercoaster). Bliss.
On a sidenote, I'm going to make a few minute changes to my ideal retirement home. Instead of a small cottage in the countryside with a few sheep and cows (that go by the name Betsy) in the meadow and a little red tractor by the side of the barn, I'm going to relocate to some obscure area in the Scottish mountains where the air would be constantly cool and everywhere would be filled with tall evergreens and rolling hills, as well as the winding mountain road, and the mountain landscape would ideally be punctuated with the occasional small cottage, and every morning would see the rising sun against the silhouettes of the mountains, and the early morning mist hovering atop the mountainside. *wanders off dreaming*
