A mother's love is the fuel that enables a normal human being to do the impossible -Marion C. Garretty
There are a couple of people I'd like to extend a Mother's Day greeting to, and what better way to express my thoughts than in forms of poems.
To my Mummy dearest:
Dear Mother,
You've loved me and watched me grow
Times where I've kept things hidden, yet you always know
When I'm down, you're always there
Providing me with much needed love and care
The times I've made you angry or caused you hurt
You've always kept it inside and not said a word
I thank you Mom, for loving me still
And for giving me umpteen chances to start anew
They said a mother's work is never done
Yet you pushed aside your happiness so that I could have fun
In everything you did for me, you went out of your way
To make sure I am happy, each and everyday
So I started today by thanking the Lord above
For blessing me with your unconditional love
I also want to thank you, Mom
For moulding me into the person I've become
I guess what I'm trying to say
Is "I love you Mom", and Happy Mother's Day

To my Godma:
I started today by thanking God
For all the blessings He has brought
The day that you were chosen, I was blessed from above
God sent me His blessings, when He sent me your love
Thank you Godma, for your love and care
And thank you for the times you've always been there
I'm grateful for your guidance through the years
And for all your precious advice, I'll hold very dear
In my life, you've played an important part
In touching my spirit and moulding my heart
And so today, the Fourteenth of May
I wish you Godma, Happy Mother's Day
