People have different obsessions [for want of a better word] at different points in their lives. Or maybe it's just me. My current 'obsession' is cross-stitching *snort*, but yeah, however uncharacteristic of me, but I've loved doing it since I was 13 but it was more of a passive kind of love, so I had numerous cross-stitch sets lying untouched or half done somewhere in the dark recesses of my cupboard. But I dug it out intent upon finishing it and it's funny how things are because now I'm planning on getting one of those HUGE cross-stitch sets with a landscape design on it so I can complete it and have it framed up *looks for empty wall at home to hang cross-stitch*. Having found none that appealed to me, I searched for ways to generate a DIY cross-stitch chart using Photoshop, and sometimes I'm glad I went to Lasalle because now I know how to fiddle with all these programs to do funky stuff. Meanwhile, I really should finish up this particular cross-stitch that has been in progress for the past..I don't know how many years [lost track somewhere along the way] *runs off to thread needle*.
