I just checked my mail regarding the Commonwealth Games and I received a nasty surprise. Not so much a surprise as a shock. I thought the Games would be held in March, but I guess for waterpolo, it's in January. I haven't been down for training in, say, 2 months at the very least, and I was just setting my mind to going down for training tomorrow when I saw the new training shedule in preparation for the Games. To sum it up, I was reeling from the 'smack' of how heavily intense training's gonna be. 13 places up for grabs as usual. And it's very likely not gonna be me, due to the simple fact that I haven't been down for training in the past few months, and so it's very possible that I'll be training my life away for nothing, that's if I even manage to survive the next few trainings after my long hiatus from the pool. But the worse part is, December's always choked full of church and Christmas activities, so how am I ever going to find time to go down for training twice a day?! I'm seriously not mentally and physically prepared for this slaughterhouse. Someone help me! I wish there was an easier way about this, but it's either train or quit right here and now, which I'm not willing to do so, for some reason unbeknownst to me. So I think the only way is to give this a shot. Well, *crosses fingers and takes the plunge*.
