The Edge Of Uncertainty

Once again I find myself on the edge of uncertainty. It's definitely the worst place to be in. Stuck in the middle certainly stinks big-time. I went to school and found out my name wasn't on the re-submission list. So that means that it's either a straight pass onto the next semester, or a straight fail and repeat. For someone who does well in school and is hardworking, it's good news. For someone like me, who's a borderline case, not particularly good at any one assignment, and not, sad to say, as hardworking as I would like myself to be, it's bad news. Even though I've managed to pass every single assignment and probably don't have anything to worry about, the disastrous final Jury prevents me from fully hoping on the optimistic side. The final results will only be out in mid-December. That's at least one month from now. One more month of incessant worrying. It can't get any worse than this. It's ironic that when people were hoping their names were not on the list, I was wishing that mine was. At least I would know where I stand rather than not knowing my fate at all. I reckon the only thing I can do now is to enjoy whatever time I have before the results come out. I think I'll get a headstart on my readings and research. I made a promise to work hard from now on and I'm gonna stick to it. Whatever the results may be, the extra research now will definitely help in a major way. I think I'll go brush up on my AutoCAD and AutoVIZ skills as well. I'm gonna be super-nerd-Tracy from next year onwards.

All's not lost though. I went to the library with Hammie and Jaya today. Borrowed a couple of books. I love reading.
