“Therefore God exalted him to the highest place and gave him the name that is above every name, that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, in heaven and on earth and under the earth, and every tongue acknowledge that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.” (Philippians 2:9-11)  listen to chapter  (Read by Max McLean. chasing rainbows and butterflies

The holidays are here! Sort of anyway. I still have to go back to school this Friday to take down the stuff that we put up yesterday for the Dean to look through. Then I have to go down again on 7 November to see whether I have to do a re-submission, which I'm hoping that I won't have to, but I have a hunch that I might have to. I really hope I can make it to the next semester. Then I'd promise to be a good girl and do my work concientiously every single day. I know promises like these are so passe, but there's something about turning 21 that makes one look at life from a larger perspective and from a more matured (haaa! what?!) point of view. One thing about being 21 is that it makes it easier to keep promises like that becasue somehow I'm more determined to shape my life out the way I want it to be, and no better time to do it than at the age of 21.

People have been asking me to look for a job these holidays. But really, all I want to do is kick my heels back and relax for these 2 months, or thereabouts. The past 4 months have all been about hectic schedules and assignments and all the school craziness that these next 2 months would be a well deserved break before all the nonsense starts again in January. So all I want to do is just to take time off to recharge and rejuvenate my brain cells so that I can start next semester (hopefully) afresh. It's not that I'm lazy or anything, but these holidays are a time for me to do the stuff that I would never have the opportunity to do when school was in session. For instance, I can finally practise my C Maths so I can give tuition next year, type Mom's stuff, bake, cook, go for training, read, etc. There are loads of things that I would love to do, except that school was in the way, so for these 2 months of break, I can finally get to do the things I love.
