Yellow yellow yellow

I've found the second love of my life. No wait. Maybe number 5. Let me count thy loves:

1. God.
2. My bass guitar.
3. The sanding machine in the workshop.
4. The 'sewing machine' thingy in the workshop.
5. The pair of funky yellow spectacles that I saw today!!! (soon-to-be love of my life)

Yep, that about sums it all up. Somehow I get this feeling that there's more to the list, but *shrugs nonchalantly* if it's not important enough for me to remember, then it's not really important at all. Anyway, I've basically got my heart set on purchasing that pair of yellow glasses. I've been wanting a yellow pair for as long as I can remember. I'm so gonna get one this time. Ooooohhh. I can't wait *bouncing about in anticipation*

One good thing about studying in Lasalle is that there's a swimming complex situated right next door. Literally. On Wednesday, I was about to leave for school when Edmund messaged and said that there won't be a morning lecture, hence, I decided to dump my stuff in the studio, and took off for the pool. It felt good to be in the waters again. Eversince I came back from the KL trip, I haven't touched chlorinated waters. And stopping training for the time being doesn't help either. Somehow I needed the swim. Helps to ease the pressure of assignments and projects by a notch. Kindda therapeutic, if you ask me. I got a tan as well. No more white chicken. At least not for the next 4 days or so, or until my face completely peels off (eeww...gross, actually just my nose) and then I'm back at square one.

I hate submission days. Especially if I have two of those dreaded days in a row. No joke I tell you. Today was bad. I finished my work on time and stuff, but not to the fullest extent of my satisfaction. I hate rushing work!! Then some would say "Why rush it at all?" Maybe it's the mindset of many youths nowadays, to do their work at the very last minute. Maybe last minute blind panice leads to greater efficiency. I don't know. But it's an increasing trend in today's society. But from my own point of view, sometimes we do last minute work because we have to simultaneously juggle different sets of projects and we cannot dedicate all our attention to that one particular project alone. Hence, we tire easily, and as much as we want to, sometimes cannot keep awake and alert enough to embark on another assignment. Therefore, we're constantly rushing about like mad chickens trying to juggle our time efficiently between various assignments, and yet produce quality work, which obviously requires more time. Sometimes, having 40 hours a day isn't such a bad idea.

I need to cut my nails.
