Avenue Q - Purpose
Not one week ago, I was looking through my past Friendster testimonials [yeah, I was bored], and I got to thinking: How do we want to be remembered when we're gone? For me, I want to bring a smile and hopefully laughter to people around me. Sometimes the means justify the ends, but in this case, let the end justify the means. To have a clear goal in mind then start to work towards it rather than grasping at straws all over the place. I think the idea of a living funeral [Tuesdays With Morrie] is pretty cool. Some people may think it sacrilegious to have a 'funeral' before being dead, but why wait till then to honor someone when they won't be around to hear it? It is an interesting concept that we should all adopt at one point or another because it trains us to see the good in others and to give meaningful compliments and praises. I really don't know where I'm going with this. Just some random thoughts which are not fully articulated properly. Maybe it's the 2500 word essay I had to submit this afternoon. Eroded most of my brain, so I'm running on what's left of it. Maybe I should just indulge in some brainless cartoons on cable.
