Apparently alot of people have been watching Russell Peters. I'm seeing alot of MSN nicks with snippets from that show. But I can't blame anyone. Russell Peters is hilarious. The show was like 45 mins, and I was laughing for 44.
Anyway, today is a milestone in my life since the holidays started. For the first time since the hols, I wasn't glued to my computer screen. Instead, my eyes have chosen another screen to attach themselves to. The Television, affectionately dubbed Telly. I've taken to vegging out in front of Telly. Watched cartoon after cartoon, even the really dumb ones like Humphrey and The Fimbles. Basically I was just lying in front of Telly till I nodded off in the middle of Scooby Doo and woke up in time to watch Hi-5 and Spongebob before heading off for waterpolo.
Match against the RJC boys today. Kicks off a whole week of matches for the U-20 league. Naturally I was scared. I hate playing games. Especially serious games like this. I'm still pretty new to it all and still blur and slow and lousy. But at least Louis was there and he knows who's up to it and who's not so he did the line-up and he told me and Jessica (this other new girl) not to be hasty, and to sit and relax first, so I was quite relieved. It's really not like I was dying to jump in and be trashed by those guys. Anyway, he only threw the both of us into the game in the last quarter. I was like "OH-NO!" but at least I had Jessica for company so I wasn't the only blur one. All I did was chase this guy up and down the pool and mark him. Once I shot but it didn't go in. But at least I wasn't yelled at this time and Louis substituted me and Jess after the first 2 goals so I was like "Yay!" Haha. I'm seriously not up to it yet. I'm pretty contented just watching from the side. Tomorrow's match will be against the Toa Payoh boys. Hope it'll turn out better than today's.
