EXCHANGE - Parousia
Ever so often I complain
About how life's been unfair to me
And how I deserve so much more
Than what I possess currently
It's a sentiment that makes no sense
When I look at what I have at Your expense
It's an unfair exchange
And I can't fathom why
You're so willing to accept my sorrow
In an unequal trade
For Your inexplicable joy
You give me riches for my poverty
Now I understand that I am blessed
I see that my demands are absurd
There's ample reason to celebrate
Your grace, more than I deserve
You, the Creator of the universe
Have laid down Your everything for me
How could I ask for more?
