Uncle Thomas called today:
(phone rings - The Hobbit song)
Me: Hello?
Uncle Thomas: Hello, can I speak to Tracy please?
Me: Yeah?
Uncle Thomas: Oh Tracy! I didn't recognize your voice! Your voice changed! (er..yeah, it's not like I'm going through puberty. My voice 'broke' long ago)
Me: Haha. (I mean, what could I say? Yeah! I went for a voice transplant 2 weeks back!)
Uncle Thomas: Just want to ask you whether you can be timekeeper this Sunday.
Me: Sure! No problem!
So I get to go back to club for the swimming meet!! I miss everyone there! Wheee!
Well, since I've started blogging, I shall touch on the Sentosa outing yesterday. All in all, I was glad to have gone eventually. Now I'm nicely red and tanned! Whoohoo!!
I wasn't planning to go actually due to training, but Mom woke me up and asked whether I was going. So I mumbled incoherently about having training. After my brain finally came to life, I went outside and saw Nigel lying on the couch so I asked him whether he was going. Anyway, he was torn between studying for his Chinese O levels and spending the day at the beach (the poor guy, I would have gone to Sentosa in a flash). We went down together in the end. Had a great deal of fun, what with ship wreck castaways on lemon slices and 'stolen' frisbees as headgear and changing in some obscure corner of the toilet with only the mat as cover, I was glad I decided to go to the beach (Even though half of singapore was there. Isn't there some other place where they could hole up?!).
Coffee Clubbed with Xueyan in the evening while Elaine worked. It was weird having Jane serve me. But she gave us a 10% discount on our meal so no complains there. I wanna work again. Saw some old faces, but many new ones. Sadly Jane wasn't hiring as yet so maybe I'll try again another time.
