Swirly Thoughts

I like having random thoughts. Keeps the old brain alive. My friend told me that one day I can compile all my random thoughts into a book and be classified as a Great Thinker. Everytime people say "A penny for your thoughts", I figured that by the time I'm 40, I'll be rich.

Latest Random Thought (hit me about 5 minutes ago):

What if in 100 years time, chickens took over the world, would they eat humans? Would they be called "Humanitarians" like how vegetarians are called??

Coming back to the present, if vegetarians eat only vegetables, then won't humanitarians only eat humans? So they have humanitarian movements all over the world to disguise their actual intentions. Maybe during their meetings, they discuss the latest way to cook humans. Or they have a get-together feast of human meat. No wonder some people go missing and are never found again. The humanitarians probably had a part to play.

Random Thought #2:

Our ears are probably explosive judging by the amount of wax in them.
Maybe we can stick a wick in and become 'walking candles'.
Really helpful in times of blackout.
Or if anyone wants to save electricity.

Random Thought #3:

When our nose hair fall out, (and I mean excessively, not the one or two strands that fall off when we explore our nostrils) is it a sign of stress? Or old age? But I seriously don't think the latter has anything to do with it because I see lots of old men suffering from VNHS (Visible Nose Hair Syndrome).

What if our eyelashes fall out too? *shudders*

Random Thought #4:

Why are our bums called "bottoms" when they are only halfway down?
I mean, shouldn't our feet be called "bottoms" instead?
Maybe someone should sign a referendum and change our "bottoms" to "halfies".

Random Thought #5:

Why did the chicken cross the road?

Why is the chicken by the side of the road in the first place?! The farmers are probably not doing a very good job of enclosing his farm area. If the chickens escape, then won't the ducks and the geese escape too? Then it won't only be "Why did the chicken cross the road?", but it'll be "Why did Old MacDonald's farm cross the road?".

Why do people poke fun at the chicken? Why can't it be "Why did the cow cross the road?". Or "Why did the elephant cross the road?". Or "Why did [anything else] cross the road?" for that matter. Why do people poke fun at chickens? Are they as stupid as what we perceive them to be? What if the chicken never crosses the road? What if it got scared off by all the big vehicles? Then technically the joke would be rendered redundant.

Random Thought #6:

"Twinkle twinkle little star, how I wonder what you are..."

What you are?! Isn't it a star like it was sung in the first line? Boy! And people wonder why some kids take longer to develop than others.

Random Thought #7:

When people go drinking, why do they clink their glasses and say "Cheers!" and start drinking? Shouldn't they be saying "Cheers!" and then start throwing confetti everywhere and whooping and jumping all over the place? Or maybe start doing some pom-pom dance because isn't that called cheering?

So why do some people say "Bottoms Up!". Sounds crude doesn't it? I mean, "bottoms" technically refer to our rear end. So why mention it, or shout it out everytime we are about to put something into our mouths? Disgusting ain't it?

I doubt my own sanity.
