Quote of the Day: The happiest people seem to be those who have no particular reason for being happy except that they are so. - William Inge
Where's my beloved niece, Amy Pryke??? Hello Amy!!! pokepokepokepokepokepokepokepokepokepokepokepokepoke...hee.
Submission week is over. But as usual I couldn't finish like half of what I'm supposed to submit but thankfully the teachers were nice enough to extend the deadline. ARGH!!!! New Year resolution down the drain. Maybe some would vaguely remember that one of my resolutions was supposed to be: handing in work on time and not skipping school. Apparently I managed to break that 2 resolutions within the amazingly short span of one week. No, make that one day. Anyway, I broke it. BAH! Now I'm gonna have to re-double my efforts at being nerd-ish and geek-ish in school.
The one week holidays are here. But I still have drawing class on Tuesday and an overdue field trip to the Museum on Thursday, I still have projects to do which totally makes the declaration of a holiday pointless apart from the fact that I need not spend sleepless nights poring over my work and then going to school looking like a zombie. Hopefully that will be the case and I will make full use of this one week to do my work instead of slacking it off.
Gonna start some healthy lifestyle regime this week since I can spare the time. I realised, after one early Sunday morning where I went jogging at 6am in the morning, that everwhere's really peaceful. I mean, people usually sleep in on Sunday mornings so at 6am, it was practically a ghost town around my area save for the handful of vehicles on the road. Even the elderly joggers don't come out of their houses till about 7am. So the air was crisp and cool and everywhere was really quiet and peaceful. No noisy people or noisy vehicles around to spoil the peaceful silence. It was one of those moments where I really thanked God for His awesomeness and I got to experience the true beauty of His creation in that one peaceful hour that I spent by myself, away from distractions and the hustle and bustle of life. So I jogged/walked for an hour before everyone started appearing on the streets and the vehicles started multiplying. It was one of the best hours of my week. I know it's early, but I encourage you guys to try it someday. It's really therapeutic.
Anyway, I've had lots of pressing thoughts that seem to materialise out of nowhere. I think my brain's getting all overworked and it has to cough up bits of data to free up the memory space in my brain. Whatever it is, I've resolved to do something about it so I can get rid of the 'thorns' in my life before moving on peacefully in life. So don't be shocked if I happen to unearth a mind boggling revelation. I'm just trying to straighten out my life. Haha.
Anyway, I'll leave the thoughts for another time. Getting sleepy now so Sayonara world. Byebye!
