Chinese New Year is here. So fast. 2005 felt like it just started but it's already February and in another 2 weeks time Term 3 is over. That IS fast.
Had a great time today hanging out with Steph, Minyen, Shion, Jaya, and Bihan. The whole group trooped down to Suntec to accompany me on my shoe buying spree and then we went to Chinatown to squeeze with everyone else. But I think all of us had fun nonetheless. I think it's one of the rare times or one of the first few times since school started last year that I really felt some class togetherness even though it was just the 6 of us. But considering we never go out together with Jaya and Bihan before, this kindda felt class outing-ish. But it was fun.
Went to Suntec to buy this really nice Adidas sneakers. Yeah yeah, I really don't need another pair of shoes but it was like going for $60. Initially I planned on buying another red pair but when I went there today I saw the pair that I've had my eye on for a loooong looong time and finally I bought it 'cos it was wayyyy cheap.
Lunched at Suntec foodcourt. Saw this really cute (and I mean REALLY REALLY C-U-T-E) caucasian guy with his parents. Basically while deciding what to eat, Jaya, Steph and I were boy watching. I mean, how can we help it when he was standing beside me? Hahaha. Seriously. He's so cute. Ok Tracy, stop it. I'm now painfully aware that I sound like a hormonal 15-year old.
Went down to Chinatown. Honestly I haven't been to that stretch of Chinatown in my whole 21 (come October) years. First time I'm there. Ultra packed with people doing their Chinese New Year shopping. I mean it was packed PACKED like sardine packed. And the weather was sweltering. And everyone was hot and sticky and the crowd was terrible and the vendors were so noisily hawking their fare. But I think for people like Jaya and Bihan, it was something new for them since they too have never been there. So I think everyone had a good time today.
Hmmm. I'm getting into the whole Chinese New Year spirit. Think it was due to my outing to Chinatown today and my NEW PAIR OF SHOES!!!!!!!! WHEEEEE!!! Hahaha. Waiting for reunion dinner time. Lalalala.
