Day #6 was reserved for shopping in the afternoon and the theatre in the evening. It was also the day when Melissa and Cheyenne weren't working so the three of us Singapore girls set off with Brit Danny in tow. I think he was bored sitting around in the flat because he asked whether he could come shopping with us. Apart from the first day, it was the second time he was exposed to the shopping terrors that were us girls, as we went from one shop to another. We started off at Hammersmith and then on to Harrods, where things were supremely upmarket that all we could do was gawpe at the chocolates on display, and then down to Oxford Circus so Melissa could look for her shoes. At the end of the day, I can safely say that Danny has become a convert. Everyone was so proud of him that he managed to buy some bermudas and do some shopping as well.
In the evening, I had the privilege of catching a West End show - Woman in Black. Theatre in London is so different from the ones in Singapore. For one, the actors were really really good. It was a great show considering we only paid £13.50 each, we managed to get ourselves shifted to a box seat which offered perfect views of the stage because Melissa went to ask one of the ushers during interval:
Melissa: Please, we've come all the way from Singapore and we don't want to be sitting so far away from the stage because we can't really see anything.
Usher guy: Well, normally I wouldn't do this, but alright.
All of us: Yay!
