Ho-Hum

Have you ever had one of those days where all you want to do is sit on your bum and do nothing? One of those slump-in-your-seat-eyes-out-of-focus-slack-jawed-and-drooling days? Well, today's one of those days where my brain has chosen to shut down. This usually happens only around Jury time, especially when I go three days without sleep and my shirt ends up inside the toilet bowl. I was supposed to be packing my bag this afternoon, but maybe the thought of packing, and thinking of what I may overlook, put me off. Or that my brain has chosen this moment to take off on some exotic vacation in the middle of the Pacific Ocean, so I couldn't dredge up enough brain cells to do my packing. Whatever the case was, my bags are not packed, my table's in a mess, I have not finished reading the London guide [OK, I'm a geek, but I don't care], I still don't know what to bring over there, and I'm sleepy.

Meiyue asked me whether I brought enough entertainment to last me throughout the 14 hour flight. I've got my music, my book(s), my sudoku, and my PSP with X-Men Legends in it. I'll definitely last, or as long as the batteries hold out. I don't really want to sleep even though my flight's at 11pm. Don't wanna sleep the moment away. I'm weird that way. Hey, I rhyme. Speaking of which, the Golden Point Award's closing in a month and I still have not written any new material for it. Better get cracking. Maybe London will inspire me in ways that my room cannot. Perhaps traipse to the countryside and try to get me some inspiration.
