The most frustrating thing about computers is that they choose to crash at the most inopportune times. Or maybe I'm just fated to not sleep the day before a submission or a presentation. I was finishing up my essay this morning and all I did was to start formatting and doing my page layouts in Freehand, which I finished around 3am, and I was about to click 'Save' when that whole infernal program crashed. See, I could have caught a few winks but sometimes circumstances beyond my control deprive me of that privilege. I was desperately clicking everywhere on the screen but nothing could revive all my work and I had to succumb to restarting the whole program and losing everything. In that instant, all I wanted to do was pitch the laptop out the window onto the freeway and let some cement truck run all over it. Yet I settled for eyeballing my laptop evilly and pounding on the keyboard before resigning myself to the fact that I had to redo everything. I hate computers.
