For want of a better title

School has gotten off to a pretty good start. Suhan has been incredibly and unbelievably nice, which makes lessons a more pleasant experience. At least I don't have to go through studio ready to brandish my imaginary shield to protect myself from the forces of evil. Workload has not changed, but what makes it more manageable is the increase in free time for us to do our work at our own pace.
As I was leaving school yesterday, I saw the last person I expected to see - Brother Paul. For those of you wondering who on earth is he, I shall enlighten you. Brother Paul, the beloved principal of CJC, was in Lasalle speaking to someone in the office. OK, my deceased grandmother would be the last person I expected to see, but it still doesn't lessen the shock of seeing my principal in Lasalle. Little wonder why Jane, who was with me, asked me why I looked so shocked. I'm not sure whether Brother Paul recognised me from all the times he had caught me for my hair in JC, but he sure was staring at me like he does. Or maybe it's just because I was staring at him with my mouth hanging open. If he was alone, I would have gone up to him and said 'Hi'. Yet I'm not surprised that he would turn up in school. Shocked, yes, but not surprised after all he is the deputy chairman of the Lasalle Foundation.
