Singapore 11 - 3 Malaysia...woohoo!!!

Saturday morning:

Waterpolo match between Singapore and Malaysia. Seniors decided to put the juniors into the game for experience. So I played. Scored the first opening goal of the match. Haha. So proud of myself. Heh. But I was dying after that. After the first quarter (7 mins), found out that Louis and the seniors wanted us to play the full 4 quarters of the game. I was like "Are you guys serious??!?!?!". But Nicole managed to persuade them to sub her out of the second quarter. I played until 2 mins into the 3rd quarter and couldn't take it anymore. So Xiu Er took my place for like 2 mins and I was back into the game till the end.

Game Analysis: TIRING!!! I was dying and people were like yelling at me, at all of us, to mark our opponents. So I/we had to chase them up and down the pool and fight with them for the ball. I got whacked in the head by someone's arm, got scratched on my arm by someone's fingernail and got scratched on my calf by someone's toenail. But it was good exposure. And we won 11-3. So we're happy. Give it up for the juniors!! Although the seniors scored most of the goals during their short time in the game.

Saturday night:

The Singapore gals brought the Malaysian and Aussie gals out for an Indonesian dinner and then a walk down the stretch of bars along Boat Quay and then into one of the bars (which I didn't go 'cos I was abit sleepy and it was late). Had a good time mingling with the overseas gals. All of us were photo whores. Whenever there's 2 people posing for a shot, the rest of us would ungraciously try to squeeze into the photo as well (Singaporeans, Malaysians, and Australians alike). But I had a good time. Then the Singapore gals shepherded the other gals from one train to another. We felt like tour guides. Just short of the little red flag. Walked down Boat Quay. Encountered these 2 old, oily, greasy, perverted men who came approached our group and asked "Want to take photo?". The Singapore gals had to 'protect' the other gals somehow. Dior was like "NO!" so they left. But one of the men was still standing there and staring and the other guy had to pull him away. Sicko. Then they decided to go into a bar and I decided to call it a day and went on home before I miss the last train and have to take a cab back. Ladeeda.
