Weird day full of funnies

I think today's one of those days where everything funny just seems to happen. Or the kind of day that everything seems funny and you just laugh like an uncontrollable moron at the slightest thing. Yeah, today's that kind of day.

Funny Incident #1:

Was returning home from Parkway with Mom. The car was parked on the 4th level so naturally Mom had to drive DOWN right? Wrong. Mom happily decided to go up 2 more levels without realising that there was no possible way of reaching the main road from the roof of Parkway Parade. The funniest thing was that the moment she started up the slope towards the 5th level, I was aware that she was going up. But I just sat there and I was about to say "How come this carpark so complicating one? You have to go up first before you can go down." when I realised Mom had reached the 6th level and was steadily proceeding upwards so I said "How come you're going up?". THAT was WHEN Mom realised. Haha. Hilarious I tell you. Might not sound funny now, but at that point in time I was laughing my butt off. Laughed until I had tears in my eyes. And all the while Mom was like "Shoot! Why didn't you tell me??! No wonder I felt like I was going up.". Duh.

Funny Incident #2:

Was chatting on MSN with Minyen and she was asking me how to spell a word:

Minyen: Hey, how do you spell Bomb-but?
Me: Huh? Bombard issit? Is that the word you're looking for?
Minyen: Yah.
Me: Hahahahaha.

Strange how it doesn't sound funny anymore when just now I was grinning to myself while staring at the computer screen. Ok, for some weird reason, the way I phrased the previous sentence makes me sound like a pervert checking out porn sites. GROSS! Don't get the wrong idea alright?

Anyway, I can't think of anymore funny incidents today although I'm pretty sure there are somemore. I'm getting old. Brain sebum deficit or something like that.

Got a tan from painting outdoors today even though there wasn't direct sun due to the nice fluffy clouds in the sky, but the heat was like "Whoa mama!" cos it was really humid and stuff and the radiation of the sun could still be felt. So I've got tanner and darker forearms!!! Yippeeee!!

Met Daryl just now to pass him my GP ten year series and GP essays. I feel so old suddenly man. I'm passing DOWN notes and not receiving passed down notes. Gosh. And I look at my friendster profile and I see 20 under the age column. Number 2. Olddie. Grandma. Ancient. Wrinkly pinkly (don't ask me..I don't know where that came from).

Was with Mom yesterday and we were looking for shampoo, facial foam and stuff and I wanted to try a different shampoo. Kindda sick of Dove. Before that we had buffet lunch and we were like really full and I think indigestion causes psycho-ness:

Me: I want to try Lux Super Rich shampoo!
Mom: Aren't you using Dove?
Me: Yah, but I'm quite sick of it. I want to try Lux Super Rich. I love pewtiful hair (That's how Michelle Chia says it in the commercial. I'm serious.).
Mom: (I think she didn't hear my rendition of the shampoo advert) Why do you want to use Lux Super Rich? There're so many other shampoos.
Me: I want pewtiful hair.

And Mom laughed like it was the funniest thing on earth. Indigestion I tell you. Depletes brain juice and slows down brain activity and causes you to blabber incoherently and makes you gigglish. Another example which happened yesterday, in the same shop:

Me: Mom! Let's buy Bio Essence Face Lift!!
Mom: Why'd you need it for? You're still young.
Me: Have to start young!!
Mom: (reading or rather, squinting at the label) Read it for me, I can't see.
Me: (reading) blah blah blah..burn off extra fats that accumulate under the skin due to blah blah blah...
Mom: Can I use it on my butt??

And it was MY turn to laugh like it was the funniest thing on earth even though it ain't that funny. I laughed till I snorted. It was THAT funny. Not. Strange.
