So I was having dinner at the hawker centre on Saturday when the group of us adjourned to this stall selling all sorts of weird fruit and vegetable (and maybe other things) drink concoctions. Being the occasional curious and slightly insane person that I am, I decided to try a cup of cactus juice. Unpleasant and poisonous as it sounds, it didn't taste half as bad as I had expected it to be. It's supposed to help strengthen the immune system (at least that's what it says on the signboard) so here's to hoping that I won't start growing spikes out the top of my head.
