“Instead, speaking the truth in love, we will grow to become in every respect the mature body of him who is the head, that is, Christ.” (Ephesians 4:15)  listen to chapter  (Read by Max McLean. Provided by The Listener's Audio Bible.)

MercyMe - Joseph's Lullaby [The Christmas Sessions album]

Go to sleep my Son
This manger for your bed
You have a long road before You
Rest Your little head

Can You feel the weight of Your glory?
Do You understand the price?
Or does the Father guard Your heart for now
So You can sleep tonight?

Go and chase Your dreams
This world can wait for one more moment
Go and sleep in peace

I believe the glory of Heaven
Is lying in my arms tonight
But Lord, I ask that He for just this moment
Simply be my child

Go to sleep my Son
Baby, close Your eyes
Soon enough You'll save the day
But for now, dear Child of mine
Oh my Jesus, Sleep tight

What Christmas means to me = the knowledge and acknowledgement of the terrible price of my freedom. That Jesus embraced humanity despite His divinity and came to earth as a marked man, to take that painful road of suffering and living His 33 years knowing that His time on earth would end in death upon the cross.
